Who are you?

Baseline StudioSystems is the world's leading provider of film and television information. Based in Santa Monica, the company serves a customer base that includes every major studio, broadcast network, representation firm and media outlet in North America. Founded in 1982, Baseline StudioSystems is a part of The New York Times Company.

Why have I never heard of Baseline?

Until recently Baseline exclusively served the industry's largest entities: studios, networks, agencies and other major entertainment and media firms. In the pre-Internet age our information was accessed via special terminals that were hard-wired to phone lines or hand-installed on the computer networks operated by these companies. The cost to provide the service was prohibitive; correspondingly our reach was limited to executives working at the largest companies.

The advent of the Internet allowed Baseline to expand its customer base to include individuals and smaller firms. We further expanded our reach by combining with leading film/TV information providers Studio Systems Inc and FilmTracker.com. Finally our newly established data syndication business again extended our reach outside the professional community to include consumers and film buffs the world over.

Baseline is widely recognized within the entertainment industry as the leading and most trusted provider of industry intelligence.

Due to the overwhelming amount of information we receive on a daily basis, it may take some time to review, verify and enter your information. However, if the information you submit is within our scope, verifiable, and complete, we will make every effort to enter it in a timely manner.

How can I see my current credits and projects in the database?
